Cemil Kerimoglu is a software engineer based in Switzerland with a background in neuroscience and bioinformatics.

Originally from Azerbaijan, he grew up in Turkey and has spent significant time in Germany, where he completed his PhD. Fluent in Russian, Turkish, English, German, and Azerbaijani, Cemil is currently learning Ukrainian.

He is passionate about Eastern European history, especially the region's struggle against Russian imperialism, and writes extensively on Russia, Ukraine, and Eastern Europe.
