Dr. Stephen J. Blank is a Non-Resident Senior Fellow in the Foreign Policy Research Institute’s Eurasia Program.

He has published extensively on Russian, U.S., Asian, and European military and foreign policies, testified before Congress, and consulted for the CIA, think tanks, and major corporations. Dr. Blank has chaired international conferences in the U.S. and Europe and is a frequent media commentator.

He is the author of Russo-Chinese Energy Relations (2006), Natural Allies? Regional Security in Asia (2005), The Sorcerer as Apprentice (1994), and co-editor of The Soviet Military and the Future (1992).
